Storm is a fictional Marvel Comics superhero. Best known as a prominent leader of the X-Men, she is the reigning queen of the fictional nation of Wakanda, a title held by marriage to fellow Marvel Comics superhero Black Panther.

She also currently serves as a temporary replacement for the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four. She was created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum, and first appeared in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975), becoming one of the first and most favorite black heroines.
